"Poets of Life" at Four International Film Festivals

"Poets of Life" created by Shirin Barghnavard and production of Mojtaba Mirtahmasb, will attend four international festivals in Turkey, Austria and Germany this month.

According to International department of Kara Film Studio, the documentary film "Poets of Life" will attend the film- and lecture series JENE TAGE/ THOSE DAYS in Vienna, Austria on 6th October which focus on various subjects linked to historical and contemporary issues relating to Iranian cinema and society.

This documentary film is also screened at the "Innsbruck Festival" in Austria on 11th October. This festival covers the subject area of nature and environment in three sections of feature film, documentary and animation from 10-13 October.

Presence of this documentary in the panorama category in the 4th "Bozcaada International Festival of Ecological Documentary" in Turkey from 11-14 October is another one of Poets of Life's international appearances.

The documentary will attend the 1st "International Film Festival of Women" from 27th until 31st October in Koblenz, Germany.

It is worth considering that Rakhshan Banietemad is also present at this festival with "Gilaneh", "Tales" and "Angels of the House of Sun" .

"Poets of Life" which is currently screened across Art and Experience cinemas, is a poetic portrayal of the life of Shirin Parsi _ rice farmer, environmentalist, and social activist.

It is worth mentioning "Poets of Life" has previously been awarded the ‘Special Jury Awards’ at the "International Green Film Festival" in Seoul, South Korea as well as the "National Award" at the 6th "International Green Festival" in Tehran.
